The Forrestfield medical centre is well respected locally and is best known for General Practice and Family Medicine. The premises was purpose built as a medical centre in 1996.
Forrestfield Medical Centre is located within 30 minutes of the Perth CBD and lies to the southeast of Perth at the base of the Darling Scarp. The suburb is split by Roe Highway into residential and industrial areas, with one of the major rail hubs in Perth located in the industrial area.
Forrestfield Medical Centre also offers a number of specialised services which include Travelvax, Botox and Restalyne consultations.
Job Description
Full Time General Practitioner required to meet patient demand. Approximately 40 hours of consulting per week across the clinic open hours.
Opening Hours
Monday to Thursday 0800 – 1730
Friday 0800 – 1700
Saturday 0800 – 1230
Practice Infrastructure
There are 7 standard consult rooms and a 3 bay treatment area with a large nurse’s station.
Forrestfield Medical Centre also has a central computerised database to cover all aspects of General Practice, from prescription writing and consultation notes through to pathology and imaging requests and results.
As part of our commitment to ensure quality, patient care we have established an efficient re-call system for patients to help manage.

Standard appointments are booked at intervals of 10 -15 minutes. After Hours and Emergency care requirements are directed to Australian Locum Medical Service - an after hour Locum Service.
‘Monet’ software is used for clinical records and accounting management. This is a paperless practice.
Support
A nurse is on duty at all times during the week. Nurses assist GP’s with Care Plans, Health Assessments procedures, and A&E.
