Canning Vale opened in late 2002 and offers a wide range of clinical specialties including family medicine, pre-employment medicals, injury management, travel medicine and aviation medicals.

The residential population has doubled in recent years, and with continued new development the clinic is well located to provide comprehensive medical services to individual private patients. Comprehensive Occupational Health and Workers Compensation Services to surrounding companies and corporate clients. The area is approximately 21km south east of Perth CBD and has good access to public transport and major roads.
Job Description
Full Time General Practitioner required to meet patient demand. Approximately 40 hours of consulting per week across the clinic open hours.

Monday to Friday 0800 - 1800
Saturday Closed
Practice Infrastructure
There are 5 standard consult rooms, 1 theatre room for minor procedures, 3 occupational health screening rooms and a 3 bay treatment area with nurse’s station. Canning Vale also has a central computerised database to cover all aspects of General Practice, from prescription writing and consultation notes through to pathology and imaging requests and results. As part of our commitment to ensure quality, patient care we have established an efficient re-call system for patients to help manage:
- Immunisations
- Cholesterol
- Pap Smears
- Blood Pressure
- Influenza Vaccines
- Care Plans
Standard appointments are booked at intervals of 10 -15 minutes. After Hours and Emergency care requirements are directed to WADEMS - an after hour Locum Service.
‘MedTech’ software is used for clinical records and accounting management. This is a paperless practice.
Support
A nurse is on duty at all times during the week. Nurses assist GP’s with Care Plans, Health Assessments procedures, and A&E.
