Fountain Valley is only 21kms south of Adelaide (the wine and festival capital of Australia). Adelaide is Australia's fifth-largest city and one of its most gracious, lying on a stretch of coast bounded on the west by Gulf St Vincent and on the landward side by the Mount Lofty Ranges. The city enjoys a beautiful warm climate - main temperature range is 29 °C (84 °F) in January and 15 °C (59 °F) in winter July.
Job Description
We are offering you the opportunity to relocate to this exciting location to work as a General Practitioner in Fountain Valley. The practice:
- Allows the opportunity to attract higher rates in After Hours Practice, being in an outer metropolitan area is a large and very busy medical centre with high patient volume
- Offers computerised accounts, script writing, ECG
- Has a nurse on duty at all times during the week. Nurses assist GP’s with Care Plans, Health Assessments procedures, work cover and A&E as required and with the doctor’s assistance
Required Skills
- Postgraduate training and experience in general practice
- Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of South Australia
- Ideally you should hold Fellowship of the relevant Australian Specialist College or an equivalent qualification
- Alternatively, you will hold AMC (Part 1) with 5 years experience or postgraduate training and general practice experience to work unsupervised
