International GP Recruitment

We are committed to providing dedicated placement and ongoing support to all International Medical Graduates (IMGs) who wish to  work in Australia. The available positions have been designed such that all doctors work with, rather than for the Practice. This arrangement includes the opportunity for you to run your own practice or to work in a supportive group practice in a modern and well established Practice. 

Registration

Registration with any Medical Council always tends to take a little longer than one would anticipate. For this reason, we would advise you to start the registration process as soon as possible even if it may be some time before you are intending to move to Australia. You will need to register with the Australian Medical Council, the RACGP and relevant State Medical Board where you are hoping to work. The rules and process will be different depending upon where your original training has taken place and we will guide and support you each step of the way.  

Visa’s

In order to work in Australia, you and your family will be required to have the correct visa. Again we will help you to obtain the correct one. There are two types of Visa’s available to UK trained doctors in order to work in Australia. Both are employer sponsored visa for either a temporary or permanent basis.
