International Doctors
As an International Medical Graduate (IMG) working in Australia, there are some limitations to the location and the area where you will be able to work. In essence this means that initially you will only be able to work in practices that qualify for District of Workforce Shortage (DWS) status. This however does not mean that you are not going to have plenty of options available to you within a variety of practices in outer metropolitan areas and further a field throughout the country.
We are currently working with 50 clinics who fall within this criteria and are looking forward to International Medical Graduates joining their practice.
